The Big August Bank Holiday UK Wrestling Preview: AEW, RevPro, PROGRESS & More

Pro wrestling will take over London over the August Bank Holiday weekend with major shows happening all across the city.

While the biggest event will be AEW All In, which will return to Wembley Stadium for the third time, UK independent promotions RevPro, PROGRESS and Pro Wrestling EVE will all be coming to town as part of the big weekend of action.

Kicking things off on Friday night will be a doubleheader with Riot Cabaret and all-women’s promotion Pro Wrestling EVE set to host shows. Former WWE star Joseph Sawyer [Joe Gacy] will be making his Riot Cabaret debut, while EVE Champion Session Moth Martina will put her title on the line.

The next night, RevPro will descend on Wembley Arena for its 14-year anniversary show. Not only will this be the biggest RevPro show of the year, but it will also be the biggest in the company’s history. The event will emanate from Wembley Arena, with Michael Iku defending the Undisputed British Heavyweight Championship against Connor Mills in the main event. Additionally, Kanji will challenge Alexxis Falcon for the Women’s Title.

Sunday will be AEW All In day as All Elite Wrestling will take over Wembley Stadium. England’s own Will Ospreay will headline the show, and will look to win the AEW World Championship for the first time in his career. Ospreay’s opponent will be someone he is very familiar with, Kenny Omega.

Rounding out the weekend will be PROGRESS Wrestling Over Everything, which will be the third show under the ownership of Nikki Storm and Big Damo. As well as a special intergender match between Rhio and Lio Rush, the Tag Team and Atlas Championships will be on the line.
