Drew McIntyre has been given an advantage for his upcoming match against Damian Priest.
Back at WWE King and Queen of the Ring, it was confirmed that McInytre would get another opportunity at the World Heavyweight Championship as he would take on Priest in Glasgow, Scotland in front of a packed UK crowd. However, as McIntyre is aware, Priest rarely travels alone.
Appearing on the June 10th episode of WWE Raw, McIntyre mentioned that wherever Priest goes The Judgment Day follows, questioning Priest’s validity as champion. Preist interrupted and stated that he was confident that Finn Balor could beat McIntyre later in the night and that if Balor lost then the faction would be banned from ringside.
Taking place in the main event, McIntyre defeated Balor to ensure that the title match in Glasgow would not have any interference from The Judgment Day. However, it should be noted that CM Punk has been teasing that he will be at the event and is not barred from ringside.
Drew McIntyre Looks To Right The Wrong Of WrestleMania 40
McIntyre’s dream came true at WrestleMania 40 as he defeated Seth Rollins and finally became a World Champion with fans in attendance. However, the celebration was short-lived as Damian Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank contract minutes later to steal the title away.
