Stephanie McMahon Inducted Into WWE Hall Of Fame, Thanks Vince McMahon

Stephanie McMahon is now a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, and thanked her father, Vince McMahon, in her speech.

The 2026 Hall of Fame ceremony took place after the April 17 edition of WWE SmackDown went off the air in Las Vegas. Linda McMahon and daughters, Aurora, Murphy, and Vaughn, inducted McMahon. Linda hss stayed away from TV as she now serves as United States Secretary of Education for US President Donald Trump.

McMahon was the first inductee of the night, with a video package highlighting her contributions both individually and helping to advance the women’s evolution being at the forefront.

McMahon’s speech opened with her childhood being like no other, which saw her frequently interact with the stars of pro wrestling and hear WWE TV being written in her house.

As part of her acceptance speech, Stephanie gave thanks to her parents, including her father Vince, who is now rarely mentioned on TV: “If it weren’t for her, and of course, my father Vince McMahon, none of us would be here tonight. Especially me.” Following the former Chairman being mentioned, a “Thank you, Vince” chant rang through the arena.

According to multiple previous inductees in the Hall of Fame, Vince was not someone who liked to be mentioned in speeches.

McMahon left WWE in early 2024 after being accused of sexual assault and trafficking in a lawsuit filed by Janel Grant. The lawsuit remains onging at the time of writing.
