Seth Rollins Returns On WWE Raw, Announced For Massive Match At Money In The Bank

Seth Rollins WWE Raw

Seth Rollins is back on WWE TV.

The Visionary made a surprise appearance for the first time since WrestleMania 40 on the June 17th episode of WWE Raw in Corpus Christi, Texas. Receiving a great reaction from the crowd, Rollins stated that it was good to be back before getting down to the reason why he was back. Having lost the World Heavyweight Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 40, Rollins made it clear that he was looking to get his championship back before being interrupted by current champion Damian Priest.

With Rollins pointing out the similarities between the two in that they are both former Money in the Bank winners and both won their first World Championships at WrestleMania, Priest granted Rollins a title match at Money in the Bank in Toronto, Canada on July 6th. While Rollins initially thought this was setting up an attack by The Judgment Day, Priest assured him that the challenge was legitimate and was later made official for the PLE.

Seth Rollins Returns From Surgery

Despite being named the MVP of WrestleMania by The Rock, at one point Rollins looked to be in doubt for the event as he suffered a knee injury back in January. Rehabbing the injury and taking time away, Rollins was able to rehab his injury and compete in 2 matches and factor into the night 2 main event over the course of the weekend. Shortly after WrestleMania 40, Rollins’ wife Becky Lynch confirmed that the former World Champion had undergone knee surgery.
