Ruby Soho made her debut for All Elite Wrestling at the All Out pay per view. Soho was the surprise Joker entrant in the Women’s Casino Battle Royale. Following the countdown to the final entrant, the song Ruby Soho by Rancid played in the NOW Arena and the star formerly known as Ruby Riott made her way onto the entrance ramp.
Ruby Soho then entered the Battle Royale and went on to win the contest by last eliminating Thunder Rosa. Initially, all 21 entrants for the Women’s Battle Royale had been pre-announced. However, Julia Hart was announced as unable to compete earlier in the week, leaving one surprise spot open for the night. The victory by Ruby Soho means that she will earn a title match against AEW Women’s Champion Dr. Britt Baker DMD at some point in the future.
Ruby Soho last competed inside the ring as Ruby Riott in WWE. However, the new AEW signee was released from her contract as part of the June 2nd round of WWE cuts. On September 1st, the released stars from the June cuts became free agents, following their 90 day no-compete clauses expiring.
Liv Morgan, who frequently teamed with Ruby Soho in WWE, posted her congratulations on social media:
