Ronda Rousey is the latest to comment on the allegations directed at disgraced former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.
On January 25th, Vince McMahon was accused of sex trafficking and multiple instances of sexual assault by former WWE employee Janel Grant. The contents of the 67-page lawsuit were an uncomfortable read and forced McMahon to resign from his executive position at WWE and TKO Holdings as a result while still denying the allegations.
Following the allegations becoming public knowledge, many current and former WWE employees have been asked about their thoughts on the matter and the topic has been one that is still discussed over 2 months after the lawsuit was published.
Speaking with NewsNation, Rousey stated that she was not surprised by the contents of the allegations and added that she will gladly speak up as she is not fearful of her future in wrestling:
“It’s not surprising. I can tell you the reason why nobody else is speaking out is because they know that there will be negative repercussions if they say anything about the company that the company doesn’t like. Everybody is being held hostage by their careers, but since I don’t plan on going back there unless they make some very major changes, I feel free to say whatever I want to say, which I’ve always felt that way. I don’t really care if they have me back or not. I can wrestle wherever I want to wrestle and the truth should be told,”
Ronda Rousey Accuses WWE Star Of Misconduct
Employed by the company for a number of years, Rousey saw firsthand how WWE operates behind the scenes and how it is structured, or lack thereof according to the former Women’s Champion. In a new and disturbing revelation, Ronda Rousey has accused a WWE star of touching her inappropriately.
