Ronda Rousey Not Expected To Return To AEW Following Revolution Appearance

Although Ronda Rousey made a surprise return to wrestling at AEW Revolution, there isn’t expected to be a follow-up for the former WWE and UFC Champion.

As reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider and corroborated by Bryan Alvarez of F4wOnline, Rousey “not expected back in AEW anytime soon.” The report also adds that the reason for Rousey making an appearance in pro wrestling ring once more was because Rousey was local to the arena where Revolution took place in California, and it was also close to the venue where she will make her return to MMA against Gina Carano later in the year.

At Revolution, Rousey made an unannounced appearance in the ring following Toni Storm’s victory over Marina Shafir. Storm and Rousey exchanged words, but there was no physicality involved. Rousey is good friends with Shafir and has teamed with the former MMA fighter in Ring of Honor and on the independents.
