Ronda Rousey has returned to the ring.
Following a loss to Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam and announcing her retirement on social media, Rousey looked to be indefinitely done in regards to competing in the squared circle. However, the former Women’s Champion would make a sporadic return outside of WWE.
As seen on Rousey’s Instagram, the former UFC and WWE star competed at the Lucha VaVOOM event, teaming with Marina Shafir to defeat the team of Taya Valkyrie and Brian Kendrick.
As seen on the post on Rousey’s Instagram, following Valkyrie and Kendrick provoking Rousey on the outside, the tag team match was made then and there. While Valkyrie and Kendrick did all they could to win the match, Rousey forced Kendrick to submit to the ankle lock.

Rousey lost her final match in WWE to Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam in an MMA Rules match. This ended Rousey’s second run which included 2 reigns as SmackDown Women’s Champion and 1 reign as Women’s Tag Team Champion.
