Congratulations to Rhea Ripley and Buddy Matthews.
As announced on Instagram, the couple revealed that they tied the know on June 23rd, posting a photo from their wedding that sees both Ripley and Matthews dressed in black with the caption “Til death.”
Ripley and Matthews announced their engagement back in August 2023. Ripley is signed to WWE and is a member of The Judgement Day but is currently sidelined with injury. Matthews is signed to AEW and is a member of The House of Black alongside Malakai Black and Brody King.
Rhea Ripley Expected Back Imminently
Beginning her reign of dominance at WrestleMania 39 with a win over Charlotte Flair, Ripley ran through the women’s division for a whole year and remained the champion one year later with a victory over Becky Lynch in the opening match of the weekend. Unfortunately, Ripley suffered an injury shortly after WrestleMania 40 and was forced to vacate the championship, bringing her reign to a devastating end.
With Ripley’s ally Dominik Mysterio catching the attention of Liv Morgan, many are anticipating the return of Ripley soon to confront The Judgment Day over the events that have transpired in recent weeks.
