Rounding out the Bank Holiday weekend of wrestling, PROGRESS presented Wrestling Over Everything on August 31.
Taking 9place the day after All In, the UK promotion once again took over the Electric Ballroom in Camden, London. As well as Spike Trivet challenging Cara Noir for the PROGRESS Men’s Championship, Rhio will take on AEW star Lio Rush, and Trent Seven will face Luke Jacobs. There will also be the Simon Miller invitational, and Hyperactive will take on Alexxis Falcon and Myla Grace.
With Proteus Champion Paul Walter Hauser set to make his PROGRESS return at the end of September, the actor was issued a challenge on the show.
PROGRESS Wrestling Over Everything Results August 31:
- Trent Seven defeated Luke Jacobs via pinfall. After the match, Trent Seven issued the challenge to Proteus Champion Paul Walter Hauser for When September Ends
- Alexxis Falcon and Myla Grace defeated Hyperactive via pinfall.
- Kouga defeated Mark Coffey via submission
- Nikki Storm defeated Frankie B via pinfall
- Diamond Eyes defeated 0121 to become the new PROGRESS Tag Team Champions
- Tommy Tanner defeated Gene Munny, Dijak and Sha Samuels via pinfall to become the new Atlas Champion
- Rhio defeated Lio Rush via DQ when Rush hit Rhio with an umbrella. The match was then made no DQ and Rhio won via pinfall.
- Simon Miller said he couldn’t compete due to his injury, but promised the fans there would still be a wrestling match. Scotty Rawk and Luke Menzies then made their entrances for the impromptu contest.
- Scotty Rawk defeated Luke Menzies via pinfall.
- Cara Noir defeated Spike Trivet to retain the PROGRESS Men’s Championship
