WWE star Penta has let the fans know that he will be back soon after suffering an injury on Raw.
The Luchador was in action on the November 24 episode of Raw in a match against Solo Sikoa as part of The Last Time is Now Tournament to determine who will be John Cena’s final opponent on December 13. However, just a few minutes into the match, Penta landed badly after hitting a Hurricanrana onto Sikoa on the outside, causing the match to be immediately paused. When the show came back from break, Sikoa was declared the winner via referee stoppage.
Taking to social media to provide an update, the Raw star thanked everyone for their concerns and well wishes, adding that he will be back “very soon” to finish what he started:
Thank you to everyone who has checked in on me. This injury tested my body and spirit, but it also awakened the strength that has always guided me. I am a Mexican warrior, forged in struggle, honor, and heart. And though the fall was hard, I rose with a fire stronger than ever.
To my rival, my deepest respect. Thank you for your professionalism and for a clean, dignified battle. I recognize your dedication and honor.
I will be back very soon, stronger, more prepared, and determined to finish what I left pending.
Thank you for standing with me… because this war still has chapters to be written. 🇲🇽🔥⚔️
No timeframe has been given as to when the Raw star will be back in action. Features of Wrestling continues to wish Penta a full and speedy recovery.
Penta Planned To Lose WWE Raw Match
With the winner of the match between Penta and Sikoa set to face Gunther in the next round, many suspected that the Luchador would advance to the next round given that it would be a face vs. heel match. However, according to Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline, Sikoa was always set to win the match.
