Paul Heyman Addresses Potential Brock Lesnar WWE Return

Paul Heyman has been asked about the likelihood of a possible Brock Lesnar WWE return in the near future.

Lesnar has not been seen since SummerSlam 2023 following his loss to Cody Rhodes. While Lesnar was reportedly scheduled to make his return at the 2024 Royal Rumble and begin his program to WrestleMania, the return was scrapped just days before the event. The reason for this was that “a former UFC Heavyweight Champion” was referenced as part of Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinatis, and WWE, which sources identified as Lesnar.

Heyman has been closely associated with Lesnar both on and off camera for years. The previous alliance was referenced heavily in 2022 when Lesnar feuded with Roman Reigns, who Heyman has served as The Wiseman for since 2020.

While speaking with CBS Sports’ Shakiel Mahjouri for a new interview, Heyman was asked about Lesnar and if he had spoken with the former WWE Champion:

“When it comes to Brock Lesnar, Lesnar doesn’t like to be discussed about anything about his life that’s off-camera. So, if I do speak to Brock Lesnar, he would want that to be private. If I don’t speak with Brock Lesnar, he would want that to be private.”

“Number one, I would never want to violate his wish for privacy. Number two, I would fear for a human being that would want to violate the feeling of privacy that would be desired by Brock Lesnar. Based on both love and appreciation for the man and a healthy dose of absolute fear of the man, I will neither confirm nor deny my knowledge of even the existence of a species on this planet that carries the name.”

When asked if he could see Lesnar making a return, Heyman responded that he does not foresee that happening anytime soon:

“I don’t really put any thought into that at this time because it’s not a subject that’s going to resolve itself by Survivor Series or by the end of the year. Therefore, it’s just not on the radar of things to address today.”

Paul Heyman Back On WWE TV

Earlier in the year, Heyman was written off TV as he was attacked by The Bloodline and driven through the announce table. On the November 22nd SmackDown, Heyman made his return to rejoin The Bloodline and introduce CM Punk as the 5th member of Roman Reigns’s WarGames team.
