The Continental Classic began and more on AEW Dynamite.
Returning for a second year, the Continental Classic Round Robin Tournament officially kicked off and will run until World End on December 28th with matches taking place on Dynamite and Collision. Additionally, Chris Jericho put the Ring of Honor World Championship on the line against Tomohiro Ishii and the fallout from Full Gear took place.
The Following Results Took Place On AEW Dynamite:
- A recap package of Full Gear opened the show to the tune of November Rain by Guns N’ Roses
- The Hurt Syndicate appeared in the opening segment. MVP bragged about Bobby Lashley defeating Swerve Strickland at Full Gear
- Shelton Benjamin defeated Mark Briscoe in the Continental Classic
- The alliance between Mercedes Mone and Kamille dissolved as Kamille quit
- Chris Jericho defeated Tomohiro Ishii to retain the ROH World Championship
- Adam Page and Jay White got into a shouting match before being attacked by The Death Riders
- Claudio Castagnoli defeated Ricochet in the Continental Classic
- Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly argued about facing MJF. Both men declared for a battle royal that will take place the following week
- Jamie Hayter defeated Queen Aminata
- Mariah May attacked Mina Shirakawa. The two will wrestle at Winter is Coming
- Brody King defeated Darby Allin in the Continental Classic
