Orange Cassidy Among Multiple AEW Injuries

Orange Cassidy is among multiple AEW stars who have recently picked up injuries.

As reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful SelectCassidy suffered a possible torn pec and will be out for an undisclosed period of time and it is unknown at this time whether or not surgery will be required. The report also notes that Cassidy had to cancel multiple appearances as a result of the injury. While it has not been confirmed when the injury took place, Cassidy’s last match took place on March 19th where he was part of a 4 way match involving Mark Davis, Ricochet and “Speedball” Mike Bailey.

Cassidy’s injury announcement follows the news that Jay White has suffered a hand injury and had to be removed from the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. White’s injury was annunced during the April 2nd episode of AEW Dynamite and was explained in storyline as an attack by The Death Riders.

Another AEW Star Joins Orange Cassidy And Jay White On Injured List

A few hours after the Cassidy injury report, Fightful Select also reported that Mark Davis suffered an injury in his match with Powerhouse Hobbs. While the specifics of the injury are not reported, it is noted that Davis will be out of action for 4-8 weeks.
