The November 16th edition of NXT will continue the build towards WarGames, which has been announced as the next big event by the promotion. The newly announced event will be taking place on December 5th.
The upcoming episode of NXT will see an old rivalry reunited. Dakota Kai attacked then NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez at the recent Halloween Havoc special of NXT. The result of the attack caused Gonzalez to lose her Women’s Championship to Mandy Rose.
The following matches and segments have been announced by WWE to take place on the show:
- Raquel Gonzalez vs. Dakota Kai
- Tony D’Angelo vs. Dexter Lumis
- Cameron Grimes and Duke Hudson participate in an in-ring poker game
- The Diamond Mine (The Creed Brothers, NXT Cruiserweight Champion Roderick Strong) vs. Odyssey Jones, Ikemen Jiro and Kushida
As NXT WarGames is only 2 weeks away, there is a possibility that some matches may be announced on the show, wither standard matches or participants for the titular cage match. Also, now that the tour of the United Kingdom has concluded, NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa may be making a return to NXT. The Champion was part of the main roster tour, where the NXT Championship was frequently defended in a triple threat match against both Bron Breakker and Sami Zayn.
