NXT have announced their next big event with the return of Wargames. The announcement was made during the November 9th edition of NXT, with the event due to take place on Sunday December 5th. While this is a Sunday event and will be airing on the WWE Network, NXT are not branding this event as a TakeOver.
The pay-per-view will see the return of 2 rings side by side and surrounded by a steel cage. As has been the case with previous years, expect both men’s and women’s teams to take part in the signature match of the event. However, it will be interesting to see who will be the participants in the men’s teams for Wargames. Since the rebranded event by NXT, The Undisputed Era have been a part of every Wargames match. However, this will now not be the case, with both Adam Cole and Bobby Fish now signed with AEW.
The 2019 men’s’ Wargames saw The Undisputed Era face the team of Tommaso Ciampa, Keith Lee, Dominik Dijakovic and the surprise entrant of Kevin Owens.
