Nia Jax and Lash Legend won big on the final episode of WWE SmackDown before Elimination Chamber.
The powerhouse duo, collectively known as The Irresistible Forces, defeated Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY on the February 27 episode to capture the Women’s Tag Team Championships. The finish of the match saw Ripley take out Jax with the Riptide, but Legend capitalised on a distracted Ripley to hit the Lash Extension. Legend then pinned Ripley to win the match and the championships for her and Jax.
Now no longer a champion in WWE, Ripley has another opportunity to win gold as she is one of the participants in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match, which is set to take place the following night in Chicago. For SKY, her direction remains unclear as she failed to qualify for the match.
Nia Jax Wins 3rd Tag Title, Lash Legend Wins 1st
While Jax has held multiple championships throughout her career, including 2 reigns as Women’s Champion and 2 previous Women’s Tag Title reigns with Shayna Baszler, this is the first time that Legend has held any championship since signing with WWE.
Legend first aligned with Jax in late 2025, and also competed in the Women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series. Legend also put on an impressive display in the Women’s Royal Rumble match at the start of the year, picking up 5 eliminations and lasting close to 40 minutes.
