GUNTHER is set to face his biggest challenger yet.
As seen on the October 9th episode of WWE Raw, Bronson Reed is next in line to challenge The Ring General for the Intercontinental Championship.
A triple threat match was scheduled to determine the new number one contender that was contested between Reed, Ricochet and Chad Gable. Ricochet was at a disadvantage as he was attacked by Shinsuke Nakamura before the match.
Ricochet and Gable tried to double team Reed to neutralise the threat, but Reed was too powerful. Reed won the match by hitting a Tsunami onto Ricochet to win the match.
The title match has been confirmed to take place on the October 16th episode of Raw, which is also being billed as the “season premiere.”
