A new update has effectively confirmed that the newest member of The Bloodline is on the way.
As announced on GCW’s social media, Zilla Fatu was pulled from the September 20th event in Philadelphia and will not be appearing for any Game Changer Wrestling shows moving forward:
Zilla Fatu will not be appearing on tonite’s GCW event in Philadelphia, or any GCW shows for the forseeable future. We tried our best to avoid this situation, but we have reached an impasse. We wish him the best. Matt Tremont will now face SLADE tonight at #GCWAura in Philly.
As has been seen with many WWE arrivals over the years, impending arrivals have been removed from independent dates once a deal has been signed, most recently with NXT’s Stephanie Vaquer, who abruptly left NJPW and CMLL after signing with WWE. Many fans also believe this is the case and have commented on the post that a Fatu arrival in WWE will be imminent.
Zilla Fatu is the son of the late Umaga and has also competed for Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling and reigns as the ROW Heavyweight Champion. Fatu made his in-ring debut in 2023.
Following Roman Reigns losing the Undisputed Championship to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40, Solo Sikoa made himself the leader of The Bloodline and completely changed the dynamic of the group. Beginning with the arrival of Tama Tonga on the SmackDown after WrestleMania, Tanga Loa would later arrive at Backlash to help the group secure a victory. In June Jacob Fatu made his long-awaited debut.
The Bloodline In Action At WWE Bad Blood
At SummerSlam, Roman Reigns made his highly-anticipated return and targeted Sikoa. Forming an unlikely alliance, Reigns and Rhodes will team up to take on Sikoa and Fatu.
