New World Champion Crowned At TNA Slammiversary 2024

Nic Nemeth is the new World Champion following the events that unfolded at TNA Slammiversary.

Competing in the main event of the show, Nemeth defeated former champion Moose, Josh Alexander, Steve Maclin, Frankie Kazarian and Joe Hendry to win the title for the first time in his career. Nemeth pinned Kazarian in the elimination match to secure the victory following the shocking events that took place earlier in the match.

In what came as a surprise to many, Moose was eliminated second in the match by Joe Hendry, meaning that a new champion was guaranteed in the match. While the crowd were very much behind Hendry, the party was spoiled by Josh Alexander, who turned heel, delivering a low blow and a C4 Spike to eliminate the fan favourite. Alexander was eliminated shortly afterwards by Nemeth.

The victory brings Moose’s title reign to an end after 189 days following a victory at Hard to Kill back in January.

What Else Happened At TNA Slammiversary?

The title change in the main event capped off a night of new champions being crowned as the X-Division, Tag Team and Digital Media/International Heavyweight titles all changed hands at the event.
