Wardlow’s 3rd title reign has come to an end.
The now former champion lost the title to Luchasaurus on the debut episode of AEW Collision, which took place on Saturday June 17th.
The title match was the first match to take place on the show, following on from the return promo from CM Punk.
Luchasaurus won the match with the help from Christian Cage, who struck Wardlow in the head with a camera following multiple attempts to try and interfere in the match. This allowed Luchasaurus to capitalise and capture the championship for the first time in his career:
The victory adds to Luchasaurus’ accolades, also previously a tag team champion with “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry.
