A steel cage match has been added to WWE Night of Champions 2026 to bring a rivalry to an end.
A video aired during the June 15 WWE Raw featuring Seth Rollins. The Visionary called out Bron Breakker, stating that he needed to end things with The Vision once and for all. Rollins laid down the challenge to face Breakker inside a steel cage. Later in the show, Breakker accepted the challenge.
Over the past few weeks, Rollins and Breakker have been at odds with both of their respective backups getting involved. While Logan Paul and Austin Theory have been by Breakker’s side, Rollins has had The Street Profits in his corner. With the steel cage stipulation being added, the intention is that no one can get involved in the match.
The King and Queen of the Ring finals are now also set following the June 19 SmackDown. Oba Femi will face Jey Uso in King of the Ring, while Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan will face IYO SKY in Queen of the Ring.
The June 19 SmackDown also started in controversy as special referee Sami Zayn fast-counted the match between WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Gunther. The match was restarted with a WWE referee, but Zayn caused the DQ. It was later announced that a triple threat WWE Title match would take place at Night of Champions.
The show is set to emanate from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, provided it is deemed safe to travel to the Kingdom.

WWE Night of Champions will air live on ESPN in the United States and on Netflix internationally on Saturday, June 27.
