The final show before Night of Champions and more has been announced for the June 26 edition of WWE SmackDown.
SmackDown will emanate from the O2 Arena in London as part of the second leg of the international tour, which will include live events in the UK and the Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia. England’s own Paige will be in action on the show as she takes on the leader of Fatal Influence, Jacy Jayne. Fatal Influence has targeted the Women’s Tag Team Champions since arriving on the main roster, and a win over Paige could take the group one step closer to the titles. Paige is one-half of the champions alongside Brie Bella, and the champs are set to defend the titles on Raw.
Also announced, British star Nathan Frazer will take on Rey Fenix in what will be a home game for one half of Fraxiom. Former allies Giulia and Kiana James are also set to go one on one inside the O2.
With this being the final show before Night of Champions, which has multiple title matches and King and Queen of the Ring finals announced, this will be the main focus of the show.
It should be noted that the show will be pre-taped ahead of time as the roster are travelling to Saudi Arabia for Night of Champions on June 27. The taping will take place on June 23, the night after Raw airs live from the O2 Arena in London. The taping will take place in the early afternoon as the England football team will play later in the night as part of the World Cup. There has been no word on whether the show will air earlier for the UK audience or if it will air in the standard USA timeslot.
