Former ECW wrestler New Jack has died aged 58. New Jack, real name Jerome Young died of a heart attack at his home in North Carolina. Young’s wife Jennifer confirmed the news to PWInsider.
In his time in ECW, New Jack captured the Tag Team Championships 3 times. New Jack also made appearances for TNA and XPW during his wrestling career. Multiple superstars have taken to social media to express their condolences on the death of Jerome Young:
New Jack was no stranger to controversy in the wrestling ring. His most infamous moment was The Mass Transit Incident at a house show in 1996. New Jack was so infamous for his brutality and controversy that the VICE TV series Dark Side of The Ring featured his life and work for an episode in season two.
