A Raw star has been pitched to win the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble.
As Survivor Series was the final Premium Live Event of 2025, the company will soon focus its attention to the Royal Rumble, which will be the first major show on the 2026 calendar. As the winners of the men’s and women’s matches will be in title matches at WrestleMania, fans are already predicting who will be the last ones standing when all is said and done.
According to WrestleVotes Radio, Bron Breakker is currently the “whiteboard favourite” to win the men’s match in Janaury, with the term being in reference to the board used in WWE: Unreal, which gave fans an inside look at the inner workings of the company It should be noted that plans could change in the 2 months leading up to the show, but Breakker remains the favourite at the time of writing. Breakker is also set to challenge CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship on the January 5, 2026 episode of Netflix, which will be the first show of the year.
The Royal Rumble has become one of the most anticipated pro wrestling shows of the year due to the potential surprises in the men’s and women’s matches, along with the show being the start of the WrestleMania build. The 2025 Royal Rumble was won by Jey Uso, who went on to defeat Gunther in the opening match of WrestleMania 41.
When Is The 2026 WWE Royal Rumble?
The 39th edition of the event will take place on Saturday, January 31. The show will take place outside of the United States for the first time ever as it will air live from Riyadh, Saudi Arabiaas part of the ongoing relationship between the country’s entertainment authority and the pro wrestling company. The Royal Rumble announcement and the follow-up that WrestleMania 43 would also take place in the kingdom in 2027 generated a considerable amount of backlash among fans in the Western world due to the human rights laws in Saudi Arabia.
