Jey Uso punched his ticket to WrestleMania and emerged as the last man standing in the Men’s Royal Rumble match.
In a result that few saw coming, Uso last eliminated John Cena to win the Royal Rumble match for the first time in his career and will receive a World Championship match in Las Vegas at WrestleMania 41. Entering the match at the number 20 spot, Uso got a great reaction and looked to be eliminated by Cena towards the end as both men were seen on the apron and about to fall. However, Uso made his way back into the ring and charged into Cena to eliminate the 16-time World Champion and add his name as one of the Royal Rumble winners.
Uso lasted approximately 37 minutes in the match and eliminated 3 stars to be the eventual winner of the iconic match. As a result of the victory, Uso can either challenge World Heavyweight Champion Gunther one more time or challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed Championship or Oba Femi for the NXT Championship. With Uso still looking to dethrone Gunther, this appears to be the direction of the Raw star heading into WrestleMania.

Uso won the match in the main event in a move that has shocked many fans while some have expressed their unhappiness at the choice of winner. Earlier in the night, Charlotte Flair won the Women’s Royal Rumble match.
