WWE star Natalya now knows her opponent for the next Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport event.
As announced by Barnett on social media, the former Women’s Champion will face off against reigning TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich at the unique pro wrestling and MMA hybrid event on August 2.
Slamovich and Natalya exchanged a war of words online earlier in the day, leading to The Warmaster making the match official for the next Bloodsport show:
Although this is the first match officially announced for the event, other competitors advertised to appear at the time of writing are Jonathan Gresham, Nick Comoroto, Simon Gotch, Matt Mako, Dominic Garrini, and Janai Kai.
It should be noted that Slamovich may not be the champion by the time that Bloodsport rolls around, as she will be putting her title on the line against NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne at Slammiversary on July 20 with both titles on the line.
No stranger to Bloodsport, Slamovich has competed at the show 6 times and has a win loss record of 3-3. In 2024, Slamovich defended the Knockouts title against Lei Ying Lee at the event under Bloodsport rules.
Natalya Undefeated In Bloodsport
Natalya made her debut at the GCW event over WrestleMania 41 weekend, where she was victorious over Miyu Yamashita. Presenting a more serious and more physical style, many fans have praised the former Women’s Champion for her character change and are hoping to see it come to WWE.
Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport will air live on Triller TV+ on August 2.
