More Details On Chris Jericho AEW Contract

Now that Chris Jericho is back in AEW, more information has been provided on his contract status with the promotion.

As reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful SelectJericho signed a contract extension that came together over the past few months. Although Tony Khan previously confirmed that the new deal was a multi-year one on the Dynasty media call, Jericho is keeping the details under wraps, as Fightful are continuing to find more information.

Jericho’s original contract was set to end in 2025, but this was extended as the former World Champion took time off. It is also confirmed that there were conversations between the AEW star and WWE, noting that a retirement run was a potential option.

Regarding the veteran being referred to as “Jericho” on TV, this is reported as a Chris Jericho insistence, adding that he will still be referred to as “Chris Jericho” at times on TV.

Chris Jericho To Return To Action At AEW Dynasty After Signing New Contract

One week on from his surprise return in his hometown of Winnipeg, Jericho is set to face Ricochet at Dynasty on April 12. The last time that Jericho competed in a match was back at Dynasty 2025, where he lost the Ring of Honor World Championship to Bandido.
