MJF & Adam Cole Hit The Double Clothesline To Win The AEW Blind Eliminator Tournament

The unlikely duo of MJF and Adam Cole triumphed in the AEW Blind Eliminator Tag Tournament.

The finals took place on the July 19th episode of AEW Dynamite, which began unusually with a dance off taking place between the teams of MJF and Cole and opponents Sammy Guevara and Daniel Garcia.

The closing moments of the match saw Cole hit the Panama Sunrise onto Garcia, with MJF and Cole finally hitting the Double Clothesline after teasing it for multiple weeks to win the match.

Cole and MJF would defeat The Butcher and Matt Menard in the opening round, followed by Big Bill and Brian Cage in the semi-finals to advance to the final. Guevara and Garcia defeated Matt Hardy and Jeff Jarrett in the opening round and Darby Allin and Orange Cassidy in the semi-finals to advance to the final round.

Due to being victorious in the tournament, MJF and Adam Cole are now the new number one contenders for the AEW Tag Team Championships, currently held by FTR. It has been announced that the title match will take place on the July 29th episode of AEW Collision.
