Mercedes Mone Makes AEW Return On Dynamite

Mercedes Mone returned from hiatus on the latest episode of AEW Dynamite and picked up a huge win in the process.

The CEO was revealed to be the wild card in the Owen Hart Tournament on the June 3 Dynamite. Picking up the win over Alex Windsor, Mone has advanced to the next round and is one step closer to earning another Women’s Championship opportunity. Mone will next face the winner of Persephone vs. Hazuki in the semifinals.

Mone was the winner of the 2025 tournament. Facing Toni Storm at All In: Texas, the former TBS Champion was unable to capture the top prize in All Elite Wrestling’s women’s division.

Mercedes Mone Back On AEW Dynamite Following Lengthy Hiatus

Mone’s last match prior to the return took place on the final Dynamite of 2025. Facing Willow Nightingale, Mone lost her TBS Championship on the December 31 show, bringing to an end her 584-day reign, the longest in the title’s history.

Following the loss, Mone also competed in promotions such as CMLL, RevPro and WPW, with many of the matches also seeing her drop championships in the respective promotions. 2025 saw Mone embark on a belt collector run, which saw her win titles in promotions all around the world. At one point, Mone held 14 championships simultaneously.
