Major Stakes Added To Seth Rollins vs. Damian Priest At WWE Money In The Bank

Seth Rollins has agreed to major stakes for his Money in the Bank match.

Seth Rollins will be fighting for more than the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Money in the Bank.

Having made his shock return to Raw on the June 17th episode, Seth Rollins made his intentions very clear, to get back the title he lost to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania. Confronting Priest on the June 24th episode of Raw, the World Heavyweight Champion pitched his stipulation for the match on July 6th, which was if he were to retain the championship then Rollins would be unable to challenge for the title as long as he was the champion.

Rollins accepted the terms and countered with his own offer, that if he were to win back the World Heavyweight Championship then Priest would have to leave The Judgment Day. Priest also accepted the terms and added that The Judgment Day needed him more than he needed them. Both men were interrupted by Gunther, who reminded them that while the match would be good, he would be the better man at SummerSlam as he would face the winner of the match in Cleveland, Ohio.

Having suffered an injury back in January, The Visionary elected to rehab the injury so that he would not miss WrestleMania. Having competed in 2 matches at the event and making a follow-up appearance in the main event of night 2, Becky Lynch later confirmed that Rollins had undergone knee surgery.
