Liv Morgan Wins Women’s World Championship At WWE King And Queen Of The Ring

Liv Morgan

Liv Morgan is the Women’s Champion once again.

Shocking the world in Saudi Arabia, Morgan defeated Becky Lynch in the opening match of the WWE King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event to become the champion for the second time and complete her revenge tour.

On the pre-show, Dominik Mysterio confronted Morgan and stated that he would make sure that Morgan would not leave Jeddah as champion after she was responsible for injuring Rhea Ripley and forcing Mami to vacate the championship. Making an appearance midway through the match, Mysterio’s assistance for Lynch would actually prove to be The Man’s downfall. Sliding a chair into the ring, Mysterio distracted the referee in the hopes that Lynch would take advantage. However, it was Morgan who used the chair by driving Lynch into the steel with a DDT and hitting the Oblivion to win the match and the title.

Liv Morgan Becomes 3rd Women’s World Champion

Following Rhea Ripley vacating the championship due to injury, a battle royal took place on Raw to crown a new champion, which was won by Lynch. Morgan vowed to win the championship to get revenge on Rhea Ripley previously injuring her and forcing her to be out of action for over 6 months. Morgan made her return at the Royal Rumble, entering the women’s match as the 30th entrant.

Morgan previously became Women’s Champion after winning the Money in the Bank contract and cashing it in on Ronda Rousey the same night.
