Liv Morgan Wins Back Women’s Championship At WWE Money In The Bank

Liv Morgan Wins Back Women's Championship At WWE Money In The Bank

Liv Morgan is now a four-time WWE Women’s Champion following the events that took place at Money in the Bank in New Orleans.

On October 10, Morgan defeated former champion Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch to win back the title in a triple threat match. The closing moments saw Morgan hit Vaquer with the Oblivion after Vaquer and Lynch were brawling near the ropes.

Vaquer won the title last month at a house show in her home country of Chile. Morgan was the champion art that time, with Becky Lynch serving as the special guest referee. The title change brings Vaquer’s second reign to an end at 28 days.

This was the only title change to take place on the show. Earlier in the night, Roman Reigns defeated LA Knight to retain the World Heavyweight Championship in the show’s opener.

Liv Morgan Wins Title, But No Money In The Bank Cash In

Earlier in the night, Tiffany Stratton won the Money in the Bank contract for a second time. However, while the contract has been cashed in on the same night previously, with Morgan herself doing this back in 2022, no cash in took place on the show.

It should also be noted that although Morgan is the champion on Raw and Stratton is a SmackDown star, the contract is eligible for both brands.
