Liv Morgan Needed Additional Treatment So Hematoma Could Heal

Liv Morgan has detailed the steps taken to treat her hematoma after knocking heads with Roxanne Perez on WWE TV.

Stephanie Vaquer shoved Morgan into her Judgment Day ally in a backstage segment. After a sickening sound that was made when they bumped heads, Morgan sported the large lump on her head for a number of weeks. The Raw star was kept out of action while the injury healed, but remained a part of onscreen storylines.

Eventually, the injury healed, but further treatment was required to aid the recovery process. Speaking on Six Feet Under, Morgan revealed that multiple steroid injections and fat graft were required:

“I had this giant, juicy hematoma that was really big. We were like, ‘It’s going to settle and go away.’ Six or seven months passed; I still had this hematoma. [We thought] Let’s inject it with steroids and see if it goes away. We did two steroid injections, and the hematoma does go away, but it left like a divot in my head because the steroids ate the fat. Just this week, I pretty much had a fat graft. It’s not lypo, but in my mind, I had lypo and they put it in my head.”

The Raw star added that they sucked fat from her belly button and injected it into her hairline. The former Women’s Champion also said that it would take a couple of weeks to heal, adding that another graft may be required in early 2027:

“It’s going to take a couple of weeks to smooth it out. In three months we’ll know if I need another one because your body only restores 50% of the fat. It’s this long process that no one has none about that I’ve been internally struggling with. It looks better. We’re on the mend.”

Liv Morgan will next be in action at Money in the Bank. Morgan and Becky Lynch will challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship at the October 10 event. If Morgan wins, she will be a four-time Women’s Champion.
