WWE stars Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez have been assessed for potential concussion-related injuries following a scary incident that took place on Raw.
Update: The next day, both Morgan and Perez revealed that they received bumps on the head over what took place, but no further information has been provided on whether they are cleared to compate.
During a backstage segment on the April 6 broadcast, Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer brawled with Morgan, who is scheduled to challenge for the title at WrestleMania 42. The brawl started with Vaquer pushing Morgan into Perez, which saw both women collide heads.
Following the show, Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline reported that both Judgment Day members are in concussion protocol, noting that it hopefully does not affect WrestleMania plans:
“Both Liv and Roxanne in concussion protocol after they clonked skulls hard when Stephanie jumped Liv from behind. Hopefully we didn’t just witness a disaster affecting WrestleMania.”
If Morgan can’t get cleared for the show, this will mean that Vaquer will be without a challenger for her championship unless WWE can find a last-minute replacement. Morgan earned the opportunity to challenge for the title after winning the Women’s Royal Rumble match earlier in the year.
Liv Morgan And Roxanne Perez Now Uncertain For WrestleMania
Although Perez does not have a WrestleMania match, it is likely that the former NXT Women’s Champion was scheduled to factor into one or more contests set to take place on the show. Along with Morgan challenging for the Women’s World Championship, fellow Judgment Day member Dominik Mysterio is set to go one-on-one with former leader Finn Balor, while JD McDonagh is part of the 6-man ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship.
