A huge title match and more has been announced for the September 12 edition of WWE SmackDown.
In a rematch from SummerSlam earlier in the year, Jade Cargill will once again receive an opportunity to become Women’s Champion for the first time in her career as she will challenge Tiffany Stratton for the title. As Cargill came up short earlier in the year, the SmackDown star will be hoping for a different result on the show.
On the September 5 episode of SmackDown, Brock Lesnar interrupted the match between John Cena and Sami Zayn by laying out both men with an F5. Shortly afterwards, Lesnar made the challenge to face Cena at Wrestlepalooza, which has since been made official. Lesnar has been announced to be appearing live on the next episode of SmackDown.
Over the past few weeks, Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton have been at odds, with The Viper laying out The Scottish Warrior with an RKO in Dublin. Looking to settle things, and likely secure who will be next in line for a shot at the WWE Championship, McIntyre and Orton will face off on the show.
