Former AEW World Champion MJF and Alicia Atout are now married.
The couple tied the knot at a ceremony held on September 5 with multiple stars from AEW in attendance including Jeff Jarrett, Adam Page, Taz and the owner of the promotion, Tony Khan. MJF acknowledged the wedding on social media, stating that his days of being a bachelor have officially come to an end:
“Even when I’m old and grey I’m gonna feel the way I do today. The death of a bachelor.”
Atout also commented on the wedding on her own social media account, declaring herself to be Mrs. Friedman:
“From Tits McGee to Mrs. Friedman. I love you.”
Tony Khan, who was in also in attendance for Sammy Guevara’s wedding to Tay Melo, stated that both ceremonies were great when one fan joked that Guevara was upset when Khan stated that MJF’s ceremony was the best wedding ever:

MJF Set To Defend Championship Shortly After Wedding To Alicia Atout
While Maxwell Jacob Friedman is still guaranteed an opportunity at the World Championship, which is currently held by Adam Page, he also holds the CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship. On September 19, MJF will put the title on the line against Mistico in a title vs. mask match. MJF earned his opportunity at the AEW World Title by winning the Casino Gauntler at All In: Texas back in July.
