A World Title match with huge implications, and more is set for the July 8 Beach Break AEW Dynamite special.
The through line of the July 1 Dynamite saw Kenny Omega issue a challenge to World Champion MJF. The champion stated that Omega could have a title match next week, but under one condition. Much like Adam Page, Omega would never be able to challenge for the Triple B again if he lost the match. After taking the night to think over his decision, Omega accepted the terms. Whoever wins the match will likely walk into All In as champion, and will defend the title against Will Ospreay inside Wembley Stadium.
The other title match set for the show will see International Champion Konosuke Takeshita put his title on the line against former friend Kyle Fletcher. Additionally, a women’s Casino Gauntlet match will take place on the show. Whoever emerges the winner will go on to challenge Thekla for the Women’s Championship at Redemption on July 26.
The final match currently announced for the show will see Chris Jericho face Tommaso Ciampa. Both have claimed they are better than the other, and are looking to prove it on Dynamite.
