One-half of the Tag Team Champions will be in action and more is set for the February 6 edition of WWE SmackDown.
Over the past few weeks, Tama Tonga and Shinsuke Nakamura have been seen exchanging words backstage, with Tag Team Champion Tonga claiming that Nakamura is not the wrestler he used to be. Following a backstage segment on the January 30 show, it was later announced that both men will face off on the next episode of SmackDown.
As this will also be the first show since the Royal Rumble, expect to hear from the winners of the Men’s and Women’s matches on the show. As has been the case in previous years, the winners of the respective matches have been seen interacting with the top champions on both brands as they mull over their decision of who to face at WrestleMania later in the year.
Additionally, as Sami Zayn is set to challenge Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble, it is very likely that fans will hear from the winner and loser of the match as the show continues the build to Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania.
