Roman Reigns returns, a title match and more have been announced for the August 31 edition of WWE Raw.
The closing angle of the August 24 Raw saw Royce Keys and the debuting OTM attack The Usos, LA Knight and Solo Sikoa. Looking to address what happened and the events of two weeks ago, where he was attacked by Sikoa, World Champion Roman Reigns is set to appear live on the show.
Reigns will next defend his World Heavyweight Championship on September 15 at a Raw taping in Mexico City, Mexico. A tournament has been ongoing to determine who will challenge the OTC on the show, with the finals set for next week’s Raw. Brothers Penta and Rey Fenix will face off for the first time in WWE, with the winner becoming the new number one contender.
Additionally, Raquel Rodriguez will defend her Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Sol Ruca.
This episode of Raw will be pre-taped ahead of time. The taping will take place on August 28. The reason for the taping is so that the staff and talent can be given a break before the South American tour.
