The final build to SummerSlam and more will take place on WWE Raw.
As announced on the July 22nd episode of Raw, CM Punk announced he had been cleared and it was later announced that Punk would take on Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam. Adam Pearce added one more detail about the match, which was that Seth Rollins would act as the special guest referee. Rollins will give his referee instructions to both men on the go-home Raw.
Also at SummerSlam, Gunther will challenge Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship. The Ring General will be in action on Raw as he takes on The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor, who is also looking to prove himself to the rest of the group.
With this being the final episode of Raw before SummerSlam, WWE will present the final build to all the Raw matches scheduled to take place at The Biggest Party of the Summer.
