A new number one contender will be confirmed and more on the next episode of WWE SmackDown.
On the September 20th episode of SmackDown, Naomi and Bayley both pinned Nia Jax at the same time in their tag team match. With no definitive challenger confirmed, Bayley and Naomi will face each other on SmackDown and the winner will advance to Bad Blood to challenge Jax for the title.
Also on the September 20th show, Andrade failed to defeat LA Knight to become the new United States Champion. After the match, a brawl ensued backstage between Andrade and Carmelo Hayes. With differences still not settled, the series will resume on September 27th.
The Following Matches Have Been Announced For WWE SmackDown:
- Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes (Andrade leads series 3-2)
- Bayley vs. Naomi – The winner will challenge Nia Jax for the WWE Women’s Championship at Bad Blood.
