The Draft begins and more on WWE SmackDown.
Looking to shake things up again, the 2024 WWE Draft begins on SmackDown and will conclude on the April 29th episode of WWE Raw. While no further details have been announced, it is expected that the previous format will be followed where half the roster will be eligible for drafting on SmackDown and the remaining will be drafted on Raw.
Opening the April 19th episode of SmackDown, AJ Styles defeated LA Knight to become the new number one contender to Cody Rhodes’ Undisputed Championship. With the match taking place at Backlash on May 4th, a contract signing between Rhodes and Styles will take place on the show.
