Latest On Kevin Owens WWE Contract

A update on Kevin Owens and WWE contract negotiations.

A new update on Kevin Owens and his WWE contract has been provided.

Back in 2023, Kevin Owens first alluded to his contract being up in early 2025, and has since referenced this in subsequent interviews. Although WWE are now more focused than ever on securing the top stars to new deals, at the time of writing the former Universal Champion is yet to re-sign.

Earlier in the week, a report broke via PWInsider stating that multiple top stars had been approached regarding new contracts, with the names in question being Liv Morgan, Rhea Ripley and Nia Jax. It was also stated that the company are now being more aggressive in attempting to secure the top stars to new deals as they do not want any free agents who could be approached by the competition.

In an update by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Owens has been approached regarding a new contract but nothing has been confirmed. Unsurprisingly, it is also added that those in AEW are very interested in approaching Owens if he does become a free agent and would make an offer.

WWE Hopeful That Kevin Owens Will Re-Sign

Throughout the year more and more WWE stars have secured their futures with multi-year deals. The most recent update took place earlier in the week when Pat McAfee broke the news that Sheamus had signed a contract extension.
