Another notable name from the sporting world will be coming to WWE 2K25 very soon.
As announced on social media on June 15th, NBA icon Shaquille O’Neal will be one of the names included in the Dunk & Destruction pack that will be released on June 25th. Other names that will be a part of the DLC include Hall of Famer The Great Khali, former TNA World Champion Abyss, NBA star Tyrese Haliburton, and 1 other NBA star.
This will be the second 2K25 DLC pack to be released following the New Wave pack that was released in May. The stars that were included in the pack were Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer and a special celebrity guest, which is still to be confirmed.
No stranger to the wrestling ring, O’Neal has competed in 2 matches. Along with being an entrant in the Andre The Giant Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32, the NBA legend also competed in on match for AEW. Teaming with a debuting Jade Cargill on the March 3rd episode of Dynamite, the duo defeated Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet. Shaq was put through a table by Rhodes in the closing moments of the match. Although he was placed in an ambulance afterwards, the basketball star vanished when checked upon later.
WWE 2K25 DLCs Continue
Although WWE 2K25 was released in March, the developers have been regularly releasing DLC packs throughout the year, featuring legends and stars who signed with the company after the development deadline. Notable names to be added in the future include ECW legend New Jack, Jordynne Grace, Penta and Mark Henry.
