More details have been officially announced for the upcoming WWE 2K25 videogame, which will see Roman Reigns once again serve as the cover star.
Appearing on the January 27th episode of Raw, Paul Heyman made the announcement that Reigns would be the cover star for the standard edition of the game. The first trailer for the game has also been released, which shows highlights from Reigns’ career, his legendary 1,316-day reign as the Undisputed Champion and his recent rivalry with Solo SIkoa that culminated on the Raw on Netflix premiere.
The trailer also teases the introduction of The Island of Relevancy feature, which fans are speculating to be similar to The City feature that is in NBA 2K Games. The City is a central hub that allows players to access features and shops for in game purchases.
The announcement also confirmed The Bloodline special edition of the game, which sees Heyman, Jimmy & Jey Uso, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Jacob Fatu, and Solo Sikoa joining Roman Reigns on the cover. Earlier in the day, 2K Games announced that there would also be a Deadman edition, which will feature The Undertaker on the cover.
When Will WWE 2K25 Be Released?
The standard edition of the game will be released on March 14th with special editions providing early access a few days prior. The game can be pre ordered now and will be available to play on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation.
