Kevin Owens was reprimanded for his actions on SmackDown.
Owens provided guest commentary for the November 10th episode as Corey Graves is on paternity leave. The former Universal Champion made his way to the announce desk in the opening segment wearing a tie over his T-Shirt in his signature mix of comical formal wear.
During a beatdown of Rey Mysterio by Santos Escobar, Michael Cole noted that Owens was not allowed to get involved or he would be suspended, foreshadowing what would happen later in the night.
Following LA Knight defeating Grayson Waller later in the show, much to the delight of Owens. Waller and Austin Theory provoked Owens by pouring water on him and threw the empty bottle at Kevin Patrick. Owens had enough and attacked Waller and Theory, which broke the rules set by General Manager Nick Aldis.

Later in the show, Owens was seen in Aldis’ office, with the General Manager left with no choice but to suspend Owens until further notice.
