Kazuchika Okada is set to become All Elite in a matter of hours.
Following on from the announcement that Kazuchika Okada would no longer be renewing his contract with NJPW, many were shocked by the news that The Rainmaker would be exploring other opportunities in 2024. Although there were mild rumblings that Okada could join WWE in a very shocking move, multiple reports pointed to Okada being the latest addition to the AEW roster, joining the likes of Will Ospreay and Mercedes Mone, who is expected to make her debut on March 13th.
As reported by PWInsider, Okada recently travelled to the United States last weekend and is still in the country. Additionally, Okada is expected to be a part of the March 6th broadcast. Coincidentally, this is also the show where a massive announcement from The Young Bucks has also been scheduled for the show.
With Ospreay joining AEW on February 28th, Okada expected on March 6th and Mone expected on March 13th, this will be 3 huge AEW debuts in as many weeks, reminding fans of the 2021 era of the promotion where top stars continually became All Elite.
Kazuchika Okada Ends NJPW Career On A High
Finishing up his commitments with NJPW back in February, Okada won his final singles and multi-man matches. Defeating Hiroshi Tanahashi and teaming with CHAOS for his final match, Okada ended a 17-year career on top one final time.
