Johnny Wrestling is back on Monday night.
Gargano made his return on the October 2nd episode of Raw, coming to the aid of long-time friend Tommaso Ciampa.
Ciampa challenged Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship on Raw, not wanting to wait until Fastlane. The terms were agreed and the match was made official for later in the night.
Gunther retained the championship after hitting multiple powerbombs and a sleeper for the win. After the match, Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci came down to continue the beatdown on the challenger.
This brought out Johnny Gargano who helped Ciampa to clear the ring and stand tall as Raw went off of the air.
Gargano last competed on Raw on May 15th, competing in a battle royal to crown a new number one contender for the IC Title, which was won by Mustafa Ali.
