John Cena To Make WWE Return At WrestleMania 42

Cena’s upcoming Mania appearance will be his first time he will be seen on WWE TV following his retirement match against Gunther back in December 2025. Competing at the final Saturday Night’s Main Event of the year, Cena tapped out to Gunther’s sleeper hold to bring to a close his year long retirement tour, which also saw him capture a record-breaking 17th World Championship and the Intercontinental Championship.
